Project Leader for Call Me Ceilidh – Cambridgeshire Music’s two-year Ultimate Ceilidh Band project for young people in Cambridgeshire, supported by Youth Music. (2013-2015)

Lead tutor for the Morris Monday Project – with EFDSS and the Camden Music Hub, introducing folk music to Camden Training Orchestra by playing a simplified movement of Alison’s Morris Monday fantasia and two related morris dance tunes. (2013-2014)

Ran the Rainbow Music Folk Band and Ukulele Band, giving (mostly) adult learners in South Essex the opportunity to learn a new instrument or genre and rehearse, arrange and perform music in a large ensemble. Tutor for youth folk organisation Shooting Roots, providing music workshops for young people at folk festivals:

Conducted, arranged and directed the orchestra and choir for the 2013 Christmas Carol concert at Cecil Sharp House, London:

Conducted the Morris Orchestra at the world premiere performance of Alison’s orchestral fantasia Morris Monday in 2013.


Assisted with rehearsals for Riverside Primary School choir, including a concert at the O2 for Young Voices 2014.

Taught whole classes of Year Five students to play the ukulele over seven sessions, working towards a short concert for their families:
